- Seat is heavy weight injection molded solid plastic, open front less cover for elongated bowl and large molded-in bumpers. External check hinges feature 300 Series stainless steel post that stop seat 11 degrees beyond vertical. Seat also contains DuraGuard,® an antimicrobial agent molded into the plastic seat. During the lifetime of the seat, it continues to rise to the surface inhibiting the growth of bacteria that causes mold, mildew, stains and odors.
