The toilet tank is the upper part of the 2 piece toilet and it bolts to the toilet bowl using a close coupled gasket. VMS stocks two tank types; pressure-assisted where pressurized air forces water into the bowl when flushed, reducing the chance for clogs, and gravity flush the most common and simplest system uses the water weight to generate flushing pressure. The pressure forces all of the water from the tank into the bowl and through the S-shaped trapway.
